About me

There is a moment, just before dawn, when everything slows down.
The light changes slowly, the wind barely moves, and the world becomes quieter.
It’s in those moments that I understand why I do this work.
I am Vittorio PicciucaPhotographer and videomaker raised among the landscapes of the Madonie Park.
A place that taught me to observe before speaking and to understand things without the need for explanations.
My vision begins here, among open spaces, silence, and time that flows without being forced.
For me, photography is not just an image.
It’s an atmosphere, a gesture, a presence that remains.
I look for what really happens:
the light that suddenly changes,
an unexpected movement,
an emotion that doesn’t pose.
Over the years, I have documented agriturismi, bistros, events, cultural projects, artisanal brands, and local businesses.
Different contexts, but with one thing in common: people who truly live and work what they do.
All of this has taught me one simple thing:
telling a story is not a matter of technique.
It’s about being there, observing, and understanding when it’s time to take the shot and when it’s not.
Whether it’s a hike in the mountains, a kitchen in full activity, an event, or a brand that wants to show itself for what it truly is…
my goal always remains the same:
To tell what is real. Without unnecessary constructions.
